Itri
İmanlı was born in 1973. When he was six he began to take
kanun and Turkish Music courses from Nuri SENNEYLI, a
musician of Ankara Radio. He also took courses on fasıl
music from Kemal GURSES, Istanbul Radio and conservatory
chorus chef, and had chance to come together and work with
the famous composers and musicians of the period like
Müzeyyen SENAR, Safiye AYLA, Semahat OZDENSES, Melahat PARS,
Kadri and İsmail SENCALAR.
Itri IMANLI graduated from ITU, the Department of
Physical Engineering and gave many concerts in various
activities of the university with the chorus he directed.
He finished Marmara University, Physics Master Program
and he also had education on “Advanced Methods in Music” in
ITU.
IMANLI founded the school which bears his own name in
1999 with Nermin AKSU and Prof. Dr. Mustafa AKSU and in the
school gave an education identical to academies. He gives
kanun, oud and theory courses personally and he is the chef
of Turkish Classical Music Chorus. He also trains Kadıkoy
Municipality Health and Social Corporation Foundation
(KASDAV) YOUTH CHORUS and other chorus in its structure. He
has given concerts with the chorus he directed to TURKISH
MILITARY FORCES, SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN,
various municipalities in Istanbul, ISTEK Foundation and
many other official and private institutions and
foundations.
He also prepared a music and culture program in FLASH TV
in 2000-2001 transition time with Ercan BOSTANCIOGLU. The
name of the program was “BIR ZAMANLAR MAZIYE BAK” and it was
very popular among the spectators.
In 2004, he made his solo album “DO” which combined his
works on Turkish and Western Music. Appropriate to the style
of this album he gave many concerts in the organizations of
the Ministry of Foreign Relations in various universities,
consulates and culture centers. He also attended TV programs
in ATV and HABERTURK. İmanlı realized many international
projects with Süren HASADURYAN and Ahmet AHMEDOV, too.
